Ingredients

1 cup white rice (or) aged basmati white rice
2 cups water for white rice / 1 ½ cup water for aged basmati white rice
½ tsp salt
½ tsp oil (optional for non-sticky rice)

Directions

1.

Rise the rice well under running tap water.

Add the rice, water, and salt inside inner cooking pot. Tip: Adding ½ tsp of oil to the mixture keeps it from sticking and makes it fluffy.

Place the closing lid over the top, turn and place the pointer in Close position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and pressure release button should be in Down position.

Choose the “Rice” mode.

5.

After pre-cooking is done, the cooking countdown will appear. After cooking, it stops with a beep and automatically switches to ''Keep Warm mode''. Press Cancel button if warming is not required.

Wait for 10 minutes to get Natural Pressure Release. It can be released manually by pulling Up the pressure release button.
