Ingredients

1.5 cups Chickpea Powder
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
½ cup Water
2 tbsp Eno
For Syrup – 1 cup water, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 squeezed lime, Green chilli, Curry leaves, Coriander leaves, Mustard seeds

Directions

1.

1. Mix the chickpea powder, salt, sugar, turmeric, eno, water and give it a good stir. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

2. Insert water into the pot and place trivet.

3. Rub some olive oil into the base of any container and add the Chickpea mix into the container, and place the container on the trivet.

4. Close the lid and Choose “Idly / Steam” mode for 20 mins.

5. For syrup - In a pan, do a sauté of the garnish ingredients (mustard seeds, green chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves). Add water, sugar, salt and lime juice and let it brew for 3-4 minutes.

6. Sprinkle the syrup from the pot over the Dhokla dish.
