Ingredients

750gms boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 tbsp ghee or cooking oil
1 large onion finely chopped
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4 tomatoes pureed
1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup coconut milk (optional)
2 tsp sugar
Salt, as required
1/4 cup Cream
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup or Paste
2 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri methi)
Coriander Leaves, handful, for garnish

Directions

1.

Set Cooker on “Sauté” mode and heat ghee. Add onions and salt. Cook until onions are soft and translucent.

Mark as complete

Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli powder. Mix well.

Mark as complete

Add 1/2 cup of water and pureed tomatoes mixing with spices. Add chicken and stir well.

Mark as complete

Close lid and set to “Chicken” mode.

Mark as complete
5.

Once cooking cycle is complete, do quick release of steam. Open the Cooker, stir in cream, coconut milk (optional), tomato ketchup, garam masala, fenugreek leaves, sugar. Add more salt if needed.

Turn the Cooker to “Sauté” mode. Cook without the lid to allow the curry to thicken for 5 minutes.

7.

Garnish with Coriander leaves.
