Bread Pudding

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
5 bread slices
1/3 cup of sugar
1 tin condensed milk
½ litre milk
2 tsp cardamom powder
12 tsp ghee
12 pieces chopped cashew nuts
12 pieces almonds, chopped
10 pieces raisins

Directions

1.

Cut the sides off the bread slices. Then cut each slice into two triangular pieces.

Press Sauté button and wait for 30 seconds for the inner cooking pot to heat up.

Add 5 tsp of ghee and wait for 30 seconds for it to melt. Place the bread slices. Roast till slightly crispy. Turn the bread slices after 1 minute.

Remove slices from the pot and keep separately to cool down.

Add 5 tsp ghee and repeat the toasting process for the remaining bread pieces.

Take a dry cloth and wipe off the cooking pot to remove crumbs.

Add 2 tsp of ghee and roast cashew nuts, raisins and almonds till they turn golden brown colour. Keep aside.

Add milk to the cooking pot. Add sugar, slowly stir in the condensed milk and continue stirring for 5 - 8 min till the texture thickens.

9.

Add cardamon powder and stir. Switch off the Cooker.

10.

Pour this thickened milk into a separate container and let it cool for 20 minutes once cooled.

11.

Pour the milk on the bread slices. Refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving.
